Hi Viz Gear & safety
The scenario: Two motorcyclists are riding down a two lane road near a small town. The leader is in a grey jacket. The rider behind him a few hundred feet is in Hi Viz Neon. Teenager and her friend have on the left turn signal waiting to turn into the drive-in. Teenager, who was stopped, all of a sudden pulls out in front of the lead rider. Why? It is possible, Teenager had target fixation on the Hi Viz jacket down the road and didn't see the lead rider. Moral of the story: If you're wearing Hi Viz gear, consider being the lead rider. It can't hurt.
